I believe it started when I was just in high school and possibly in late in middle school. At first, I was more interested in drawing and thought that animation would be my future goal. I always liked animated movies, Tv shows and comics so I assumed that would be something that I really wanted to do in the future. At the same time however, I also really liked reading and was intrigued by the stories that were written while also being interested in the various plot points, tropes, scenarios and cliches that they displayed. I would read novels, manga, comics and other kinds of literature that caught my attention while also still retaining my love for animation ranging from Western cartoons to even anime. Though personally, I preferred to watch traditional or 2D animation due to the art styles that made them so unique compared to CG/3D animation.
Over time, I would gradually lean more towards writing and storytelling as I found myself coming up with new story concepts and plots that could work in the future and would type them on my laptop or phone. I would often write during high school, especially during lunch breaks or recess, and that was when I realized that I wanted to become a professional writer and author in the future. Even when I entered university, I would often find the time to write down story concepts that came to my mind and see if I could make my own unique stories that could impact the lives of people. I also became interested in fanfiction as most stories that we see are in a sense fanfiction in their own right but with different names and titles to avoid legal issues. I even started creating my own fanfiction series, namely "Encanto X Coco" that is currently on Archive of Our Own. In fact, fanfiction actually helped me when it came to story writing as I liked the idea of crossovers and how certain characters and plotlines can be weaved together to create new stories of their own.
However what I do have is a pet project that I plan to write as a series of books if not a web serial for anyone who wishes to read and may even expand into a media franchise one day if successful.
