Lilac Jalani and Gerald Smiths were a once happy couple who seemed to have a promising future together until terrible events befall on them. Thanks to experiencing a series of unfortunate events, Gerald gradually becomes less loving and more abusive towards the optimistic Lilac to the point of being straight-up abusive. Eventually, after a messy and nasty break-up, Lilac is forced to heal from the trauma that she suffered under Gerald while Gerald has to deal with the consequences of his actions. Will they be together again or will it be too late for both of them?
The story will be told in 2 parts with the first one focusing on Lilac and the other one focusing on Gerald. It will be a tale of love, redemption and forgiveness while also dealing with certain issues such as abuse and how traumatic it can be for anyone.
