Olivia Wells is a high-school teacher who is popular and loved by many students due to being understanding and caring towards them. One particular student named Viola Brin is always aloof and cold towards others including Olivia, which prompts her into investigating her past. Eventually, Olivia ends up meeting Viola's older brother Simon who initially proves to be intimidating before she finds out that he is not so bad. As she continues to spend time with Simon and learns more about his and Viola's past, she comes to care about them and do her best to help them with their situation. The story will focus on Olivia's budding romance with Viola's older brother Simon along with her motherly/sisterly relationship.
